What we’re working on, currently
UrbanHonking says:
UrbanHonking is currently in the middle of putting together the our new spring line-up and blogging the shit out of the PDX Film Fest.
Ryan says:
I’ve been super busy lately, trying to enjoy the beautiful spring weather mountain biking with my bike club. working on a number of projects including: a new access & authentication system in PHP for Bizware’s Webteam tools, a file management intranet type system for Evco Plastics, the B2C front end to the new Rezzline hotel reservation system, and as soon as I get a minute to breath (next week?), I’ll start on a CMS back end for ZD’s next water park project. Oh yeah, I’m also going to continue the remodel of my house & help to get a mountain bike park started in Portland.
Chris and Greg say:
- http://Grabb.it, the first music player that’s native to the web. Grabb.it plays songs, just like iTunes, except instead of local songs ripped from CDs and downloaded as mp3s, Grabb.it plays online songs from all over the web. And instead of just sitting there like a music player on your local computer, Grabb.it connects you into the always-on global musical conversation.
- A semi-secret Amazon-based startup for a client.
- An online chocolate store for local favorite Pix Patisserie.
- A new website for PDX Pop Now!, an annual free all-ages festival of Portland music.
Marcus says:
- A website and publishing platform for Dave Allen’s local music imprint, Strong Week
- In-the-works deals between Tables Turned ASCAP, BMI and SESAC that will allow us to grant internet broadcasters the license podcast music. At least from a public performance, pay-the-artists standpoint.
- A hardware, software, hosting, licenses, and ad services package for for Tables Turned to provide for local music venues, radio stations (including PRA Radio), recording
studios, weekly papers, and anybody else that deserves to be heard.- Relaunch of WeeklyReader.org (lit); launch of FilthyLucre.org (smut and fast fiction); third show for lesrarebirds.com (rare vinyl enthusiasm); another wa(aa)y overdue
show for Tables Turned.
Mariano says:
I’ve been just slacking off since I fired my main client over a month ago, here’s proof. And these are from my recent past life, when I was busy and productive.
Javan says:
I’m working on a rather large PHP project, and will continue to do so for the next couple of months. I’m taking advantage of some amazing open-source projects and code libraries that have dramatically sped up development time.
I’ve also been taking pictures, working on my tan, riding my bike, and showing movies on the roof.
